and of course in addition to all of those races there's also three Statewide measures on the ballot that you'll be voting on this November they are all yes or no backers of amendment one they say that it's meant to reward homeowners who make flood protection improvements to their home by not taxing them on the increased value it would add to their property Amendment two would get rid of the Constitutional revision commission that's the group that meets every 20 years to put amendments on the ballot and supporters of amendment three say it would help address our Rising housing costs here because it would expand homestead tax exemptions to teachers law enforcement active duty military among others remember a constitutional amendment needs 60 percent of the vote to pass if they do pass they take effect then early January of 2023. that was of course a very quick overview you can scan this QR code here with your phone right now and get a link that will take you right to our voter toolkit Eric was just talking about where we do have in-depth explanations for each of those amendments plus other critical information including voting guides polling locations and times
Thanks Kent your participation is very much appreciated
