today I'm gonna show you how to conduct a search of the Delaware business database so to do a business entity search so you do that for a corporation an LLC or a partnership what you're first going to do is go to the division of corporations web page so on that web page there will actually be a link on the left hand side of the page that's set that says entity search you're gonna click that link and you will come to a page that looks like this you actually only have two options for searching you can only search by entity name and file number it's kind of an and/or things you could search by either of them so you input your search terms into the blank fields and then you click the search button and then you will either see if the name is available if it's not being used you'll be given the option to reserve that name but if your search does return results you have the ability to sort of get advanced information about those entities just by clicking the named entity name whenever you get the general information so then after that there'll be a number of details on an entity details page that's file number entity named entity kind residency entity type sort of the address city state from there you actually have the option to request even more information about the entity of your choosing to do that you just click the status or status tax and history information and then you'll have to pay a filing fee of ten or twenty dollars and that will more than likely after you pay electronically so that is how to conduct a search business entity search using the Delaware division of corporations webpage

Thanks RunzlerF your participation is very much appreciated
