for me the obvious choice was to continue the legacy of HBCU in my family the first thing I noticed when I got on campus was that there was this huge support system that as soon as I came in I jumped into study groups professors are reaching out to me when I come on campus after like I'm a part of a family none of my parents went to college I knew I wanted to go to an HBCU after hearing about the family vibe that you get and I can say it has been the best decision I've made my path that GP has been just like my college career that we jumped in learn the process from the leaders in those processes I was like okay this is where I see myself this is where I don't see myself and I was able to communicate that to the people who I work for so my manager was able to guide me in the right direction as well and now I'm you know blossoming into the engineer that I was trained to be we are engineers we need to get some dirt some grease some all on our fingernails at work and that's what I can get at georgia-pacific and that's what I have I'm not stuck behind a desk my advice to students graduating will be to have an impact on their environment that's in don't be afraid to stand out and allow people to see you and see what you can do take advantage of the classes that you really don't like or that you're not good at because it's those classes in those courses in those fields of engineering that are eventually going to come back

Thanks for your comment Stanley Justiniano, have a nice day.

gypsum board drywall why is it so great its fire resistant for starters and we make many innovative wall board products from waterproof to fiberglass reinforced but they all start with gypsum natural gypsum is made from rocks well not that kind of rock gypsum rock if they used it to build these it's gotta be good after being mined this soft rock is crushed into a fine powder meanwhile synthetic gypsum comes from recovered Co products of industrial processing like ash from a power plant clever huh all this powder will then get mixed together with our special secret blend of ingredients and spices to create a slurry as you can see it looks a bit like mud and the slurry is then spread out on a really long roll of paper well another paper layer gets sandwiched on top then they get sent down a conveyor belt to dry out and these sheets are baked in a large dryer which turns the board nice and hard and strong kind of like when you leave your cookies in the oven too long but it's perfect for building then they get trimmed to their final size before they get labelled stacked and shipped all over the country and that's just one of Georgia Pacific's many gypsum base products all from a natural resource

Thanks tunizianoa your participation is very much appreciated
